Two Things to be Thankful For: Day 3
My Parents. Still putting up with this guy and his moods. Especially today. The little time I have. Regardless of my lack of time. It is still time. Its still a blessing to be here at all.

A Debacle of Cutting Music
Tried it for the first time on my own. Was an epic fail, to say the least. One more attack on my self esteem. It was a fun first try, although it was really quite terrible.

Two Things to be Thankful For: Day 1
In part of a lifetime attitude of gratitude, I’m going to strive to post two things to be thankful for each day: My mom. I love her so much. She has done so much. Overall she is just a great character. Food in the morning, unconditional love, a person to truly be thankful for.  :) Who I Am. I just thank God for blessing me with the gifts I am given and the struggles: the good the bad and...

Got enough Sleep to dream last night
It consisted of time traveling via water/puddles to prehistoric times, where I was attacked by blood thirsty velociraptors and brachiosaurus . Probably one of my best dreams. The end was a real twist. I end up escaping and time traveling back to my house. But as I believe myself to be safe, a velociraptor appears through the water and into my bedroom.

Fareed wants to encourage his young daughter to play the piano. However, she seems to happily practice the piano everyday because, apparently, she likes to produce music. According to research in motivation, what is the best approach for Fareed? 1) Fareed should offer his daughter praise and positive feedback but not offer her concrete rewards every time she practices. 2) Fareed can further...

I Heart Mrs. Schmidt
A two day notice from me a scrawl saying something along the lines of I need a recommendation, and the deadline is in two days. Surprise! And being the amazing person that she is, she writes it and without a complaint or any expression of disgust or even the slightest reluctance. This one instance just speaks volumes about her character as a person, role mode, and friend.  How she puts herself...

Biggest and Most Self Induced Stressor
Procrastination. As I procrastinate on things I KNOW I must do, as I do other mind-numbing activities, the stress or procrastination sits at the back of my brain, eating slowly away. Its easily the most avoidable yet most stressful situation for me. Caught within my own ironies, its almost funny. Almost.
